體育播報8月16日宣 英超首輪比賽，基耶薩替補出場破門，利物浦主場4-2擊敗伯恩茅斯。

據記者Eleonora Trotta透露，英超首輪比賽之前，利物浦已經告知基耶薩，俱樂部會留下他，這也是出於球隊的需要。
