雷速體育9月17日宣 WNBA官方公布了本賽季的最佳新秀人選，飛翼的狀元秀佩奇毫無爭議當選。

康涅狄格大學成為有史以來第一所在同一賽季貢獻NBA和WNBA年度最佳新秀的學校。此前同樣來自康涅狄格大學的馬刺新秀卡斯爾獲得了2024-25賽季的NBA年度最佳新秀。
